The Eurasia Packaging and Food-Tech Fairs open their doors
The 27th Eurasia Packaging Istanbul Fair and Food-Tech Fair have opened their doors to visitors on October 12 at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center. The fair attracted great attention of European visitors last year, and it is expected to have a large number of visitors from Europe this year, as well.The Eurasia Packaging Istanbul International Packaging Industry Fair, which brings together significant brands of the packaging industry and industry professionals every year, and which is the region's important meeting point for the search for solutions for all food and non-food industries, is at Tüyap Istanbul for the 27th time between October 12 and 15 simultaneously with the Food-Tech Fair. Organized in cooperation with Reed Tüyap Fuarcılık A.Ş. and Packaging Industrialists Association (ASD), the Eurasia Packaging Fair has begun to welcome its visitors with the official opening ceremony on the 12th of October, attended by the Tüyap Fair Group Chairman of the Board Bülent Ünal, Reed Tüyap Fairs General Manager Ali Muharremoğlu, Packaging Manufacturers Association (ASD) Chairman of the Board Zeki Sarıbekir, MAKFED President Adnan Dalgakıran, PAGEV President Yavuz Eroğlu and protocol.
The sector meets in the most preferred commercial platform of its region
Participating companies operating in the fields of packaging products, complementary packaging products, raw materials and intermediate products for packaging production, services for the packaging industry, packaging printing, corrugated cardboard-carton packaging production and converting technologies, packaging machinery, packaging production machinery, auxiliary devices, equipment and systems for machines, beverage and food technologies, packaging recycling technologies and logistics took their place at the fair to meet with their buyers. Over 1100 local and foreign companies and company representatives from all areas of the packaging industry are participating in the fair.
Reed Tüyap General Manager Ali Muharremoğlu said about the fair, "We are happy to host the Eurasia Packaging Fair this year, too. We believe that we will reach a record number of participants and visitors this year, just like we do every year. In 2021, we held online business connection events in parallel with the physical fair for the first time. The fair is in hybrid format this year, as well. Fair participants and visitors can also communicate via the online business platform Business Connect Program."
President of the Packaging Industrialists Association (ASD) Zeki Sarıbekir commented, "Turkey is the center of Europe and Eurasia in packaging. The sector provides a foreign trade surplus and positive contribution to the current deficit. The Eurasia Packaging Fair is becoming more important every day for the packaging sector. We believe that our contribution to closing the foreign trade deficit of our country will increase this year as well, thanks to the collaborations that will be built during the fair."
