Blow mold

Before starting mold design, the material of the part is selected, the production method is determined, and the 3D geometry and toleranced technical drawing of the part to be produced are created. In order to carry out the conceptual mold design, information about the machine to be used for production (connection plate, etc.) is required. In addition to these, thanks to information such as total production data, monthly production data, cycle time, and investment budget, the number of cavities the mold will have is determined. After reaching an agreement with the customer on the basic mold principles and receiving the order, the detailed mold design phase begins. Mold design is carried out in 3D. The mold’s operating principle, motion sequence, and process steps are analyzed. After the detailed mold design is completed, materials are ordered and mold manufacturing begins. The process is completed with mold trials and the approval of the part and the mold.
