MELPET® PET, rPET & SPECIALTY PET RESIN

Since 2009, Meltem Kimya has produced PET resin at its Adana facility with two production lines and a total capacity of 158,000 tons/year. MELPET® includes PET, rPET and specialty PET resins. MELPET® rPET is produced by chemical depolymerization of high-quality, hot-washed post-consumer PET bottle flakes. Recognized by the European Commission as a “Novel Technology” under (EU) 2022/1616, Meltem Kimya is the only globally recognized company among the 24 Novel Technologies announced outside the EU and UK. Our portfolio covers water and oil bottles, CSD, Hot-Fill, A-PET, BOPET film, textile, injection molding and engineering polymers, as well as specialty PET resins with pinning agents, antimony-free (AF) and microtalc grades. With CP and SSP capabilities, we offer IV grades ranging from 0.57 to 1.40 dL/g.
