Sonçağ Orman Ürünleri was founded in 1940 by the late Abdurrahman Sonçağ, initially operating in forest products logistics with horse-drawn transportation at Konak Pier in İzmir. In 1966, the company expanded its operations by producing wooden mandarin and fig crates, as well as crates for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, becoming a strong brand in Türkiye. In 1983, Sonçağ began pallet production and became the second company in Türkiye to obtain an EPAL license. In 2004, the company moved to its modern production facility in Yazıbaşı, Torbalı, İzmir, expanding its operations to include wooden pallets, crates, timber and wood chips. Since 1940, Sonçağ has built its reputation on trust, performance, synergy and prestige, and remains committed to carrying its strong heritage and brand into the future.
