SASA is one of the world’s leading producers of polyester, fiber, filament yarn, polyester-based polymers, and specialty polymers. SASA commenced its production in the polyester industry in 1966. In 2015, following its acquisition by Erdemoğlu Holding, the company further strengthened its presence in international markets through new investments. Utilizing technologies from Dynamit Nobel, ICI, DuPont, Uhde Inventa-Fischer (UIF), Oerlikon Barmag, AC Automation, and INVISTA in its operations, SASA has a strong technical infrastructure supported by its high-capacity production facilities and its Research and Development Center established in 2002. With a specialized workforce of approximately 4,000 employees, SASA operates one of the largest production facilities in the world, spanning 2,181,000 square meters in Adana, as well as a 56,000-square-meter raw material storage area in İskenderun. In addition, the company maintains liaison offices in Ankara and Istanbul.
