The 30th Eurasia Packaging Istanbul Fair Opens Its Doors in Istanbul — Shaping the Future of the Packaging Industry

Eurasia’s largest gathering for the packaging industry, the 30th International Eurasia Packaging Istanbul Fair, has officially opened its doors to industry professionals. Organized by RX Tüyap in collaboration with the Turkish Packaging Manufacturers Association (ASD) and supported by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade, the fair is taking place between October 22–25, 2025, at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul, welcoming the leading global and local brands of the packaging world.
Spanning from Europe to Asia, and from the Middle East to Africa, the Eurasia Packaging Istanbul Fair remains the most comprehensive packaging industry platform across a vast geography. Now in its 30th year, it continues to provide the ideal business environment for new collaborations and trade opportunities for both global and local brands. More than 1,250 exhibitors from 41 countries are showcasing their latest packaging products, food and beverage processing technologies, and cutting-edge printing systems to nearly 80,000 professional visitors from around the world over the four-day event.

This year’s edition highlights the key themes shaping the future of the packaging industry — sustainability, digital transformation, and food safety. From packaging machinery to food and beverage processing technologies, from eco-friendly materials to recyclable packaging solutions, and from printing systems to automation, the entire industry value chain is represented under one roof. The fairground serves as a massive showcase for the latest packaging solutions developed for key industries such as food, beverage, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, cleaning products, and logistics.
“Full Capacity, 80,000 Visitors Expected”
Highlighting record-breaking participation in the fair’s 30th year, RX Tüyap General Manager Berkan Öner stated: “We are currently operating at full capacity across our fairground. This year, we are hosting 1,250 companies, 280 of which are international exhibitors representing 40 different countries. From the United States to Germany, Italy, and France — all the way to the Far East and Central Asia — our reach is truly global. Thanks to an intensive year-round marketing campaign worldwide, we have already received over 50,000 online registrations from 130 countries. This year, we expect nearly 80,000 visitors, including 15,000 international attendees.”
“30 Years of Dedication — and a $10 Billion Export Vision”
Zeki Sarıbekir, President of the Packaging Manufacturers Association (ASD), emphasized the historical importance of the event for the industry: “Today, we are not only opening the doors of this fair; we are celebrating the 30-year journey, dedication, and vision of Türkiye’s packaging industry. What began three decades ago in a modest 1,000-square-meter hall with just 50 exhibitors has now evolved into one of Eurasia’s largest international fairs. For four days, Istanbul will once again become the world capital of packaging. In the first half of 2025, our industry achieved $3.5 billion in exports and generated a $1.4 billion trade surplus. We expect to close the year with exports exceeding $7 billion. Our targets for 2030 are a market size of $50 billion and exports reaching $10 billion.”
