METPACK produces customized barrier coated board by using extrusion coating technology. We are the leading polymer (PE, PP, PLA, and PET) extruded paper and board converter in Turkey. We are located in Istanbul at a 40.000 m2 facility with a production capacity over 78.000 MT per annum. We are a sister company of Aras Grup, established 1974, which is one of the pioneers in the machinery, printing, paper, and packaging market in Turkey. We aim to continue investing in state of the art and fully customized extrusion coating technologies and production/storage facilities. Due to our long term experience in machinery, all of our coating lines are unique with quality control, versatility and total customer satisfaction being our main goal. Our product range is from 20 gsm/m2 thin papers upto 400 gsm/m2 boards with various range of polymer coatings. Our GC1, GC2, and CKB supply is managed by our sister company Met Kağıtçılık which by itself has a turnover of 24.000 MT per annum in various board grades. Metpack production and quality meets all international food grade packaging standards (Food Security Certificates; BRCGS Packaging, ISO 22000 and Quality Certificates; ISO 9001, and other certificates like ISO 14001, ISO 45001). We deeply care about the environment. We have FSC and PEFC certifications. We are the only paper and board sector company in Turkey who has been certified by TÜV Austria with ISO 14064-1:2018 Carbon Footprint Certificate for the reduction of Greenhouse Gas . We also have ISO 50001:2018 Certification again from TÜV Austria. In accordance with our protecting the environment goal, we have started investing in solar panel fields (3.7 MW already operational, 4.3 MW under planning) and we will be powered completely by sustainable energy in 2024.
